Lovely cottage

After waiting since 2020 we finally managed to get to Stanwell cottages and the wait was definitely worth it. We stayed in Oak Cottage for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, a well equipped kitchen, a very comfortable zip together bed, and a highly functional bathroom, with a bath and efficient shower, all this in an ideal location to visit Amroth, Saundersfoot and Tenby as well as St. David’s and Llanelli.
All in all a great place to stay with friendly, helpful hosts.

Thank you for your review and we are pleased that you enjoyed your long awaited break.

Just had a week staying at Beech cottage. Beautiful place to stay and what a lovely setting and location. Ideally located to some of Pembroke's fantastic beaches and attractions.
Mick and Barbara are very welcoming and helpful. Most worthy of 5 stars so much so we would love to return in the near future. Ohh by the way Benny our dog had a great time.
Thanks Mick & Barbara

Great Accommodation

Just stayed in Beech Cottage, what a great place - home from home!
Mick & Barbara were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area & great to talk with, being very friendly and approachable. Have no hesitation in recommending this holiday cottage accommodation. Oh yes, South Wales is also worth a visit.

Beech Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Beech Cottage which is spacious, clean and very peaceful. The garden is sunny and ideal for Molly the dog - the three of us were very relaxed and rested during our visit. Mick and Barbara were very welcoming and made us feel really at home - many thanks to them. It was my first visit to Pembrokeshire and the Cottage proved to be well located for visiting both coast and country, and we were treated to lovely weather as well! A great holiday.

Super holiday

Beech cottage is everything we needed for a lovely stay. Mick and Barbara are wonderful owners, very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. This was our first holiday in South Wales with our dog and wouldn’t hesitate to go back. The location is lovely and quiet but not far from some lovely places of interest. Highly recommend.

Had a great week at the cottage, revisiting all the places we had been to 40 years ago, and some that we had even forgotten we'd been to.
Cottage had everything we needed, very clean and comfortable.
Only slight criticism was that we couldn't alter the central heating, it only came on for about 1/2 hour in the morning switching off at 7.10, so we had to put the gas fire on, perhaps the thermostat was set a bit low. The first time we have stayed in a cottage where we didn't have control of the central heating.

Thank you for your review and I am pleased you enjoyed your stay in Pembrokeshire and our cottage, but sorry that the heating was not entirely satisfactory. The problem was, indeed, the thermostat in the bedroom (renewed this year and more complicated than the old one) that was preset to 20 degrees. We have managed to adjust this up and all rooms are now responding to the radiator thermostats that can be controlled by our visitors, as it should be, between the hours of 6.30 - 9.30 morning and evening with the gas fire being an extra source of heat during the day if required. It is not our intention to limit the use of the heating so severely and would have dealt with this earlier if we had been aware of this problem. Thank you for drawing our attention to this matter.
